Most Westerners know the story of Joseph (of the coat of many colors). Most Christians know that this story is a type (parallel) of the life of Jesus. However, this author has made the delightful discovery that the later part of the Joseph story also parallels the return of Christ, as prophesied elsewhere in the Bible.
If Joseph is a prophesy of the second advent of Christ as well as the first, there are many implications for the end-times events that have been debated for centuries. There are also end-times implications for the people in whom God chose to incarnate the Christ.
You may not agree with all the implications the author derives, but you shouldn't miss this important insight. Scholars will appreciate the wealth of reference material, indexes, and charts.
